Now, with this Companion Reference Guide and the Christian Bible, you are finally free from having to rely on “experts,” since you now have all of the tools you need, such that you can be your own Bible scholar.
Previously, to properly study God’s Word in detail, in addition to a Bible, you would also have to have a concordance, at least several Greek-oriented books, a multi-volume Bible commentary, and a Bible dictionary. But now, you can both accurately and efficiently study God’s Word using only the Christian Bible, this Companion Reference Guide, and at times a translation of the Old Contract Writings (“Old Testament”). This is truly possible because of the Christian Bible’s accuracy, plain English literalness, comments, and footnotes, and because of all the features found in this Companion Reference Guide.
Because of the many inaccuracies in the previously popular translations of the Bible, students of the Bible were often told by “experts” that certain English words in these Bibles really meant something other than their normal meanings. This meant that the students were at the mercy of these “experts,” especially if the students didn’t have, at least, some basic familiarity with Koine Greek. However, now, armed with only this Companion Reference Guide and the Christian Bible, your reliance on the “experts” can be greatly diminished, both because of the accuracy of the Christian Bible, and because of the organization and content of this Companion Reference Guide.
The translators of the Christian Bible knew that you would want an extremely good concordance, a Bible dictionary, maps, and other study tools, so that you could study God’s Word in detail. So, they labored for an additional two years merging and enhancing their translation tools into this Companion Reference Guide, and published the two “First Editions” at the same time, so that you would have this book as a very useful companion to the Christian Bible. Yes, this Companion Reference Guide does contain an exhaustive concordance; and, of course, a concordance is a very valuable research tool, since it can show you where a particular word can be found in the Bible, as it lists the words of the Bible in alphabetical order, along with references to the verses in which they can be found.
This massive Companion Reference Guide can easily expose any “dirty linen” in the Christian Bible and every other Bible. So, even without knowing any Greek at all, you can now easily check out any Greek word and see any or all of its English translations, and thereby instantly determine whether that Bible’s “linen” is “dirty” or “clean.”
Other concordances aren’t going to be of much help in your study of the Christian Bible, since other concordances aren’t organized like this one, and aren’t based on an accurate, literal, plain and simple translation of God’s Word.
You see, the concordance portion of this Companion Reference Guide is organized slightly different than most other concordances in that, while it is in alphabetical English word order, it is segmented by the underlying Greek word. So, while this organization may cause you to, at times, flip a few additional pages to find the location of the word that you want to research, once you have found it, you will find everything that is related to the underlying Greek word in one place. So, no matter how a Greek word has been translated, you will find all in one place: all of its English word equivalents, all of its Bible references, along with all of the other details relating to that Greek word. This can be the only proper way to organize a concordance to a literal translation of God’s Word.
Notice, too, that the concordance organization of this Companion Reference Guide lays bare to you, the observer, many important details about a Bible’s translating work, which weren’t available to you before, unless you understood Koine Greek. You see, since all of a Greek word’s references are in just one place, along with its Literal English Definition, you can determine for yourself how honest, literal, and consistent the translator has been.
This Companion Reference Guide is so much more than just a concordance, as it also provides: (a) the original Greek words in Greek letters, (b) the accepted pronunciation of each Greek word in English letters, (c) the historical origins of the Greek words, when they originally come from some other ancient language (such as, Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin, etc.), (d) the Literal English meanings of the Greek words, (e) “pointers” to other, related Greek words, and (f) background information on people, places, and other important words. Plus, this book also includes accurate, detailed maps, an index by Greek word, and a “Word Family Index” by each Literal English Definition’s prefix, root, and suffix.
Yes, for the 5,184 keywords, absolutely every reference to each word is given with a one-line excerpt from each verse using that word. Plus, all of the references to each of the underlying Greek words can be found right there together, all in one place.
For the remaining 128 minor words (such as “and,” “that,” “where,” etc.), only a sample of their many references are provided. In all you will find 52,372 one-line reference excerpts.
Every English word shows you its underlying Greek word (in both Greek and English letters, with very plain and simple pronunciation aids). Also, you are told whether a word is a uniquely Greek word, or if it originally came from some other language (such as, Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin, etc.). Then too, Strong’s Greek Word Number is always provided, in case you should need it. Plus, you are provided with easy-to-use “pointers” that point to other, related Greek words.
You also have a very enlightening Literal English Definition for each Greek word. That is, each Greek word is divided into its component parts (prefix(es), root, and suffix), and then each part is translated separately. Hey, if you truly love God’s Word, this is real exciting stuff.
Oh, but please don’t be intimidated by all of the special tools available in this Companion Reference Guide, since learning to use them is both fun and easy, and results in you being able to be your own Bible scholar. Plus, of course, a plain and simple, detailed explanation on the use of each tool is provided for you.
You will also be continually referring to the dictionary or encyclopedia type descriptions to discover fascinating details that will make your Bible studies much more exciting.
The numerous, clear and useful tables will help you in your study, so that you can come to know God’s Word even better than most Bible scholars. Now hey, this is definitely not an exaggeration, since most Bible scholars are blinded by their denominational training and positions, just like the religious leaders of the Jews were 2000 years ago.
At your fingertips you have 142 pages of special, cross-reference information, that can be used for intensive Greek word studies by anyone, even by people who don’t know any Greek at all.
Plus, you can easily turn to the most accurate and detailed maps that you have ever seen of ancient Jerusalem, Palestine, and the Roman Empire.
Because of the exacting, precise, perfectionistic attitude of these translators and their attention to details, they also were very demanding about the final printed form of the Christian Bible and its Companion Reference Guide, so the following desirable qualities exist with these two beautiful books:
Yes, it is our hope that you will find this Companion Reference Guide to be a joy one that will enrich your study of the Bible, and help unlock the “door” to the marvelous treasures found in God’s Word.
So, please don’t let our Savior say that He never knew you, because you didn’t care enough about His Truth to invest $39.00 in these books, and to thereby unlock the hidden secrets of His Word!

be continually proving the spirits to see if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world!” 1 John 4:1 (CB) |
Back in 1991, when we first began publishing the Christian Bible and its Companion Reference Guide, the “experts” said that based on our printing costs, normal expenses, and shipping costs, that the Bible should be priced at $29.95 and its huge Companion Reference Guide at $38.30. Well, we are now in the “Second Edition” of these books and, as you can guess, our costs and expenses have gone up since 1991 (shipping costs alone have gone up twice), but we really want you to have these two books, and we are a nonprofit concern staffed with volunteers (not employees), so we are continuing to price the Bible at only $20.00, and its Companion Reference Guide at just $25.00. (We pray that this is what God wants us to do!)
But . . . order both of these books together now, and you get an additional $6.00 savings, so that this “Special Offer Duo” costs you only $39.00. That’s a total $29.25 savings from what those “experts” said we should be charging way back in 1991.
So, send us a check (or money order) for $20.00 (Bible), $25.00 (CRG), or $39.00 (Duo), along with your USA shipping address, and we will send out your books. If your shipping address is outside of the USA, e-mail us that address to find out the additional shipping charge.
If you are not
delighted with these books in every way, send them back in saleable condition within
thirty days, and we will promptly refund every penny of your money, no questions
asked! |
Sorry, but we don’t currently handle credit cards or “PayPal.” But, of course, you’re right, when we do, the books will likely end up costing more.
Yes, we’ve priced these books too low, and are giving you too good of a deal – but we are trying to be good spiritual brothers and sisters. We are trying to use “an ideal measure” (giving you more than you would normally expect), in order to obey the following from the Bible: “. . . an ideal measure ( [like grain that is] squeezed down, shaken together, and yet running over [the brim]) they will give to you in your lap; for that measure which you are using to measure others, it will be used as a measure for you in return!” Luke 6:38 (CB).
